Kenneth “Pop” Ralph Pendleton, 66, of Spencer, passed away February 26, 2021 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital due to a massive stroke. He was born in Lafayette on February 24, 1955 to Ralph and Madeline (Kendrick) Pendleton.
Kenny was a lumberjack and carpenter most of his life, working for Scamihorn Logging.
The family is grieving his loss, but knows he is in a better place than we are at this time. We are a family of faith and we believe that he is safe with God and he is joined by members of the family that have gone on before him and they’ve welcomed him with joy and love especially mommy & daddy.
Kenny is survived by his six sisters, Connie Black, Joyce Hasselburg, Kay Pendleton, Teresa Pendleton, Mary Jo Ranard and Bonnie Whitaker; five brothers, Jimmy, Mark, Tony, Charles and Brian Pendleton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and other family members.
Private services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.
