Lois Moyer, age 90, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 11:30 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Golden Livng Center in Petersburg. She was born in Linton on November 19, 1928, the daughter of Frank Hoffeditz & Madge (Squire) Hoffeditz.
Lois was a 1948 graduate of Linton High School. She was a beautician for many years then helped her husband in the car business at Lee Moyer Sales in Worthington. She and her husband spent the winters in Florida in their later years. She liked to decorate cakes and sew.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue (David) Clark of Bicknell; grandsons, Brent (Shelley) Clark of Ellenton, FL, Adam (Amber) Clark of Henderson, KY and Brian Slake of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Rylee Clark, Megan Clark, Clayton Slake, Isaiah Clark and Judah Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, James Lee Moyer and granddaughter, Cherish Slake.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Bohley Cemetery in Linton with Rev. John Pierce officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nine Mile United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
