Jeanette Weaver, age 89, of Linton, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Linton, Indiana on October 16, 1927, the daughter of Robert Reid Dunning & Lillie Mae (Davis) Dunning.
She retired after working 22 years at Crane, and worked 19 years at REMC.
She attended the Church of God for many years and the Assembly of God, both in Linton. She ministered by giving a church service at Linton Nursing Home for over 30 years.
She enjoyed cooking and entering several Indiana Beef Cookoff Contest. She owned and operated the Haus of Ceramics Shop in Linton for many years and enjoyed oil painting.
She is survived by her two Daughters, Carolyn Hay and Susanne Weaver both of Linton, IN, Grandchildren, Kristina Tucker, Jeremy Castle, Bryan Weaver, Cory Hay, and Mackenzie Weaver, Great-Grandchildren, Brittany, Aileese, Matthew, Noah, Ariana, and Mason, and a great-great grandchild, Finnley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband, William Weaver, a Stillborn son, Stephen Reid Weaver, a son, Wm. "Bill" Weaver, Brother, Bobby O. Dunning, and a Sister, Susanne Jane Lawson.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
