James Lee Brosman, of Ellettsville, passed away at home on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the age of 79. He was born on May 1, 1940 in Greene County; he was the son of the Paul and Roxie (Hendricks) Brosman.
James retired from Wetterau Foods where he was warehouseman from 1966 to 1994 and then went to Indiana University retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Teamsters union for 28 years. He was a faithful member of West Side Assembly of God. James was a talker and he loved to travel, he and Mary traveled 48 states together. He loved his family and we will miss him dearly.
James is survived by his wife Mary Brosman (Terrell) of 48 years of marriage; his children, Michael Brosman (Robby), Rocky Brosman, Jonathan Farmer (Debbie), Mary Sparks (Bill), and Leon Brosman; grandchildren CJ Farmer, Chris Hostetler (Taylor), Samantha Hostetler (Scotty Wisley), Brittney Farmer and Melissa Sparks; great grandchildren Maicee Hostetler, Noah Wisley, Gracelynn Parrish, Cadence Hostetler and River Wisley; siblings Beverly Feldmann, Leslie Brosman (Becky), Ronald Brosman (Sherry), and Odell Puett; sister-in laws Ruby Roach, Betty Terrell and Lois Terrell; and brother-in-laws Carl Terrell (Beverly), Wayne Terrell (Jackie) and Charles Terrell (Vicky); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jeane Puett, parent-in-laws Glen and Maude (Burks) Terrell, and brother-in-laws Lowell Terrell (Carolyn), Clyde Terrell (Joanna and Gisela), Hobart Terrell (Loretta), Floyd Micheals, Russell Terrell and Donald Terrell.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Charles Evans and Jonathon Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Chambersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday and from 12 noon until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
